Meet the Photographer
Hi everyone, and welcome to my website!
I am Maria, a Netherlands-based photographer and classical musician. People often say, "Whoa, what a mix!" But I have had these 2 interests since childhood and I feel blessed that my jobs are also my passions.
I grew up in family of photographers, my father owned a studio and a photo store. Therefore since very young age, I was surrounded by it. Also, I was admitted in the music school for young talents when I was 3 years old, and very early got a "wunderkind" nickname. So, both photography and music are my core.
Photography for me is a tool to challenge myself, to explore new artistic ways to portray someone's personality. It is a tool to connect, to make meaningful connection and to make people feel nice about themselves. Each photo session is unique, and tailored for each individual.
For over 7 years I have worked with different photographers on high-end post-processing. This led me to find my own unique style and discover who I really am. Being a classical musician also gives me a unique perspective on the promotional needs of performing artists, and business professionals.
